Dr. Rob Cooper, Board Member of We Are the Villagers, receives a cheque for $500 from Fr. Andrija Petresin, Pastor of Sts. Volodymyr & Olha Ukrainian Catholic Church, Cawaja, and Chester Bortkiewicz member of the Church Golf Committee that raises funds annually to support their Cawaja Church and other charities in the North Simcoe area.

This donation to the WATV Annual year-end For the Kids Campaign will help the charity continue sponsorship of kids from marginalized families to pursue their passion for extracurricular activities (sports, education, cultural, or recreation) through 2022.

Dr. Cooper expressed gratitude that Church of Sts. Volodymyr and Olha chose to become part of the "Village" it takes to raise a child. (November 2021).

Our Church will be collecting non-perishable items for the food banks at St. Vincent de Paul (St. Margaret’s Catholic Church) and the Salvation Army.

A box has been placed at the side entrance to the church and items can be dropped off before, or on your way into, the 11:30 liturgy.

Donations will be delivered alternately to the food banks every second week.

Thank you in advance for helping Sts. Volodymyr and Olha contribute to assisting those in need.
